For more than 50 years, South Suburban Park and Recreation District has been a leader in park and recreation management, providing recreational opportunities to those of all ages and abilities.

South Suburban Park and Recreation District serves nearly 140,000 residents in Lone Tree, Littleton, Sheridan, Columbine Valley, Bow Mar, western Centennial and portions of unincorporated Jefferson, Douglas and Arapahoe counties. District residents benefit from the comprehensive network of South Suburban trails, parks, open space and recreational facilities and programs.

South Suburban manages over 80 miles of well-planned trails, including the Willow Creek Trail that meanders throughout Sweetwater Park, Lone Tree Golf Course, Cook Creek Pool and RidgeGate.

The District has four recreation centers: Lone Tree Recreation Center; Goodson Recreation Center in Centennial; Buck Recreation Center in Littleton and Sheridan Recreation Center in Sheridan.
Family Sports Center in Centennial offers ice skating, a climbing wall, laser tag, inflatables, an interactive gaming zone, called the eXerGame Zone, and an indoor amusement park. Outside is a 9-hole golf course and 18 holes of miniature golf. South Suburban Ice Arena, open year-round, offers a variety of skating and hockey lessons; public skating; teen activities; community ice shows and more.
